F2 RE
RE – Lenten Reflection Day
This term, we have had many reflection and retreat days. We have just had our Lenten reflection day where we spent time thinking of how we can grow in love and share that love with others. We created individual Lenten promises and, during our class reflection at the end of the day, we shared our promises with each other. Both classes have enjoyed spending time with Francis, the school chaplain, who also taught us how we can grow to be like Jesus.
Baptism
Father David kindly visited us and spoke to us about Baptism and its meaning. We found out that it means being ‘welcomed’ into God’s family. He helped us act out a pretend Baptism and showed us some of the objects that may be used as part of a Baptism ceremony. We then showed Father David some of our Baptism photos and special keepsakes from our own ceremonies.
Myself
During this topic, we found out that God knows our names and that He loves us all. Here we are, having some prayerful reflection time.
